Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will manage the full procurement cycle for the Frankfurt overseas warehouse, covering equipment, packaging materials and outsourced services. The role ensures cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee procurement of warehouse equipment, packaging supplies and localized services for the Frankfurt site.
• Identify, evaluate and develop high‑quality local suppliers and maintain long‑term partnerships.
• Lead negotiations, contract signing and monitor execution to achieve cost optimisation, quality compliance and on‑time delivery.
• Collaborate with operations, finance and legal teams to perform compliance reviews and risk controls.
• Produce regular procurement data analysis reports to support budgeting and business decisions.
• Contribute to local procurement strategy formulation and drive cost‑reduction and efficiency projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement or logistics, preferably in e‑commerce or cross‑border logistics.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; German proficiency is a plus.
• Good knowledge of the German market, relevant laws and business practices.
• Strong negotiation, data‑analysis and cross‑departmental collaboration abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
