Product Engineer – AI Agents for Freight Automation

About the role

You'll work directly with the founding team to build AI agents that automate real operations in global sea and air freight. This high‑ownership, full‑stack role lets you make foundational technical decisions and deliver product directly to users in a critical industry.

Key responsibilities

• Talk directly to customers and translate their needs into product direction and system architecture.
• Build full‑stack features combining intuitive interfaces with intelligent backend logic, including LLM orchestration, agent workflows, and structured data pipelines.
• Push the limits of what LLMs and agents can do in production, tackling reliability, latency, and evaluation challenges.
• Scale code from demo quality to robust, production‑ready systems, balancing speed and durability.
• Help shape the technical vision and product strategy of the company.

Required profile

• 3+ years building full‑stack web applications with Node.js and TypeScript in production.
• Hands‑on production experience with LLM‑powered features such as prompt engineering, structured output parsing, and error recovery.
• Proficiency in React for user‑facing interfaces.
• Experience designing MongoDB schemas with performance in mind.
• Experience building distributed systems and serverless infrastructure, handling concurrency, failures, and scale.
• Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g., Datadog) for debugging async workflows.
• Demonstrated track record of taking full ownership of projects from architecture through delivery.
• High‑agency mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and curiosity about how industries work.
