Project Manager - Data Ingestion & AI Automation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of an AI‑powered data ingestion and validation platform for a pan‑European real‑estate investment manager. The role is remote, with occasional travel to client offices in Europe, and involves end‑to‑end ownership of discovery, sprint planning, and implementation across multiple commercial modules.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the discovery phase, conduct requirements walkthroughs, refine the backlog and create delivery plans.
• Own the sprint roadmap, milestone schedule, resource allocation and risk/dependency register.
• Chair governance meetings and report programme status to internal and client leadership.
• Oversee sprint ceremonies, UAT support, deployments and hyper‑care periods.
• Manage scope, budget, timeline and commercial change‑request governance.
• Ensure all documentation (status reports, risk registers, RAID logs) is produced to standard and on time.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to client teams at project close.

Required profile

• Proven delivery of complex software programmes involving data engineering, automation or AI/ML.
• Enterprise client experience in financial services, real‑estate or regulated environments.
• Strong Agile background with sprint planning, backlog refinement and release management.
• Experience managing distributed teams across backend, frontend, QA, DevOps and data engineering.
• Senior stakeholder management, including CTO and product owner engagement.
• Experience with fixed‑price commercial structures and change‑control management.
