Project Manager – Electrical & Mechanical Development (RO Systems)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of a complex electro‑mechanical system for water treatment and filtration technology. The position is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days on‑site near Karlsruhe, and starts in late August for a six‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and drive the design and development of mechanical and electrical components of the RO system.
• Manage cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and other regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee testing, validation and documentation of hydraulic and fluid‑handling subsystems.
• Communicate progress, risks and issues to stakeholders in both German and English.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical product design and development.
• Strong project‑management experience with complex engineering projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards and regulated medical‑device environments.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic technologies and fluid‑handling systems.
• Fluent German speaker.
