QA Manager – Pharmaceuticals (Germany, 12‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA function within a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical environment in Germany. The role will oversee quality across manufacturing and supply‑chain activities for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute QA strategy and operations for manufacturing and supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with EU GMP, GDP and other global regulatory standards.
• Manage QMS processes including deviations, CAPAs, change controls and internal audits.
• Lead regulatory inspections and maintain inspection readiness.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs and Operations teams.
• Develop and mentor a high‑performing QA team.

Required profile

• Significant QA leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of EU GMP and related regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience managing inspections and quality systems.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent English.
• QP eligibility is advantageous.
