Quality Inspector – Aircraft Assembly & Inspection

About the role

The Quality Inspector ensures that all assembly operations on the production line, flight test, and delivery centre meet Airbus Helicopters' stringent quality standards. Starting in September, you will conduct inspections on the H160 helicopter, travelling between Donauwörth (Germany) and Marignane (France).

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical and structural inspections of aircraft components.
• Inspect sealants, paint, skin panels, composite and metallic materials.
• Check brackets, fasteners, riveting, and carry out final closure of inspection points.
• Prepare DQ1 technical documentation and manage concession requests.
• Map non‑conformities, characterize defects and create/manage NC records.
• Apply internal quality, safety and security procedures and follow up on work orders in Airbus systems.
• Report quality system failures and product non‑conformities to supervisors.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the aeronautical environment, including security, safety and quality measures.
• Extensive experience inspecting Airbus aircraft/helicopters (mechanical, electrical, structural).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as structural drawings, work orders and maintenance manuals.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between Germany and France.
• Fluent English (C1/C2); German and French are a plus.
