Regional Fleet Manager, MEU Fleet Management

About the role

Amazon Logistics is looking for a Fleet Operations Manager responsible for the safety, compliance, availability and customer sentiment of the fleet in its region of Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. The role executes the business strategy, applies best practices and plays a key part in the larger European fleet organisation. It is based in one of the delivery stations or offices and requires travelling 30-40% of the time across the region, with occasional travel across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles in the region are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations and Amazon Standards by auditing them and collecting regional feedback through partnership with Fleet Compliance and Product teams.
• Execute existing fleet initiatives and new product launches, and support delivery partners by building mechanisms to help manage their fleets.
• Influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve complex operational needs, including managing escalations.
• Manage vehicle operational readiness and cosmetic standards by collecting and analysing data from fleet management sources to protect the customer experience.

Required profile

• Fluent speaking, writing and reading in both German and English.
• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain or a related field.
• Experience handling multiple competing priorities and complex projects with several stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain or transportation, or equivalent professional or military experience.
