Release Manager – Enterprise Applications

About the role

We are looking for a Release Manager to lead software release planning, deployment coordination, and production readiness for enterprise applications within the pharmaceutical and life‑sciences sector. The role ensures smooth release cycles while meeting strict regulatory, quality, and operational stability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage application releases across all environments.
• Coordinate release activities between development, QA, operations, and business teams.
• Maintain release calendars and detailed deployment documentation.
• Ensure release governance and compliance with change‑management processes.
• Monitor release quality and production deployment success.
• Support rollback planning and incident‑management activities.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of release processes.
• Guarantee adherence to pharmaceutical validation and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Release Management or Deployment Management.
• Mandatory experience in the pharmaceutical or life‑sciences industry.
• Knowledge of GxP, CSV, ITIL, and change‑management processes.
• ITIL certification is a plus.
• Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage.
