Remote Part-time Accountant for Diverse Clients

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join a partner company that supports a portfolio of non‑profit and for‑profit organisations across Germany. This part‑time, fully remote contract role offers the chance to apply your accounting expertise while contributing to meaningful missions.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile client bank statements and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Manage income and expenditure accounts, ensuring proper financial tracking.
• Prepare financial reports based on accounting data and business activities.
• Handle tax filings, remittances, and other compliance requirements.
• Support the implementation, management, and optimisation of accounting software systems.
• Use QuickBooks Online to manage client accounting activities and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with non‑profit accounting is preferred.
• CPA certification or equivalent professional designation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work independently.
