SAP GTS Consultant – Principal Consultant

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP GTS Consultant to lead the design, implementation and support of the Global Trade Services module for its German clients. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and direct interaction with business stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient trade processes.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate SAP GTS with SAP SD, MM and third‑party middleware platforms.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide strategic guidance on trade compliance.
• Design, configure and support SAP GTS functionalities aligned with business requirements.
• Configure Inward Processing Relief (IPR) and Import‑Based Preferential Processing (IBPP) in SAP GTS.
• Implement bonded‑warehouse management and related customs procedures.
• Integrate SAP GTS with local customs authorities using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI or other middleware solutions.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience in SAP GTS functional consulting.
• Broad industry exposure and solid understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes.
• Experience delivering projects in an Agile environment and working in an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulated business processes and ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.

Required skills

• SAP GTS configuration and support.
• Experience with SAP SD and SAP MM modules.
• Integration expertise using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI or comparable middleware.
• Implementation of IPR, IBPP and bonded‑warehouse processes.
