Secondary Education Teacher – Summer Tutoring Classes

About the role

We are seeking a motivated secondary education teacher to deliver summer tutoring and academic support to lower and upper secondary students in Germany. The programme focuses on strengthening core subject knowledge, improving study skills, and preparing learners for the upcoming school year.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tutoring and academic support lessons to secondary school students.
• Prepare and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and academic goals.
• Support students in German, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and English.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster motivation, confidence, and effective learning strategies.

Required profile

• University degree in Education, German Studies, English Studies, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to engage and motivate adolescents from diverse educational backgrounds.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage.
• Experience with online teaching and educational platforms is desirable.
