Senior Accountant – Dual Reporting (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP)

About the role

As a Senior Accountant you will ensure the accuracy, integrity and compliance of NVision’s financial reporting while supporting the company’s rapid international growth. You will work closely with the Finance team to manage core accounting functions and drive the implementation of dual reporting under German HGB, IFRS and US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, banking, travel expenses and fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, IFRS and US GAAP.
• Support the ongoing development of dual‑reporting processes and ensure seamless reconciliation between local and international standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and other partners during audits and statutory reporting.
• Assist with VAT returns, tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and digitalisation of accounting processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international MedTech, Life Sciences or high‑growth technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS or US GAAP, with experience in dual‑reporting environments.
• Proven track record in preparing financial statements and coordinating external audits.
• Excellent analytical abilities, detail‑orientation and structured working style.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Ulm and travel at least once per month.
