Senior Accountant – International Private Equity

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed organization operating across Germany, Belgium and France. The role will manage the full accounting cycle for multiple European entities and ensure compliance with both IFRS and German HGB standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the general ledger accounting and lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and coordinate group‑wide accounting activities.
• Ensure tax and statutory compliance, including VAT reporting.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous process improvements and ERP system enhancements.

Required profile

• Several years of accounting experience in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and German HGB accounting principles.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
• Structured, solution‑oriented working style.
• Fluent in both German and English.
