About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the German finance team of a global advertising services business. The role is based in Hamburg and supports the company’s rapid growth in the German market.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for the German entity.
Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
Assist in the implementation and optimisation of the ERP system.

Required profile

Minimum 4 years of experience in financial accounting.
Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to work on‑site in Hamburg 2–3 days per week.
