About the role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join the German finance team of a global advertising services business. The role is based in Hamburg and supports the company’s rapid growth in the German market.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for the German entity.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Assist in the implementation and optimisation of the ERP system.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in financial accounting.
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Hamburg 2–3 days per week.
