Senior Corporate Counsel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to provide strategic and operational legal guidance for a fast‑paced technology company operating remotely from Germany. This part‑time position offers the chance to shape legal frameworks across intellectual property, data protection, commercial agreements, employment matters, and regulatory compliance while supporting innovative digital products and international growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive legal support for corporate, commercial, regulatory and operational issues.
• Lead IP initiatives, including trademark registration, copyright management and third‑party IP compliance.
• Ensure data‑protection and privacy compliance, covering user consent, privacy policies and processing of personal data, including for under‑age users.
• Draft, review and negotiate Terms of Service, EULAs, refund and cookie policies, and community guidelines.
• Advise on platform compliance, app‑store requirements, subscription models, in‑app purchases and payment‑service provider interactions.
• Support employment matters such as employee/contractor agreements, confidentiality, non‑compete clauses, equity incentives and terminations.
• Negotiate commercial contracts, partnership agreements, vendor relationships and API integrations.
• Oversee licensing compliance for software components, open‑source technologies, SDKs and third‑party content.
• Provide counsel on AI‑related legal issues, liability, training‑data usage and emerging regulations.
• Assist fundraising, investor relations, due‑diligence and corporate transaction processes.

Required profile

• Law degree, preferably with a focus on international, corporate or commercial law.
• Significant senior‑level experience as an in‑house corporate legal counsel.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote, fast‑changing environment.
• Strong advisory skills for business stakeholders and risk‑mitigation expertise.
