Senior Data Scientist – Dynamic Pricing & Revenue Management

About the role

We are building Holidu’s Dynamic Pricing & Revenue Management team from the ground up and need a founding Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of machine‑learning models that price thousands of holiday homes. Based in Munich, you will work in a hybrid setting, turning business questions into data‑driven pricing strategies that boost host occupancy and earnings.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and own end‑to‑end pricing and forecasting models, from prototype to production systems that directly impact revenue.
• Build predictive models for demand, price sensitivity and conversion probability.
• Translate business problems into testable scientific approaches and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Experiment with dynamic pricing tactics such as weekend rates, early‑bird discounts and regional pricing, and evaluate their impact in production.
• Monitor model performance, run A/B tests, and iterate to maintain accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to define datasets, features and model requirements.
• Continuously integrate AI tools and best practices to improve model development, deployment and maintenance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist solving real business problems.
• Quantitative degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
• Strong foundation in statistics and machine‑learning methodology.
• Ability to work autonomously and make technical decisions on model design and trade‑offs.
