Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend focus) – Platform Team

About the role

bunch is building the backbone of private markets and is looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to join the Platform team in Berlin. You will craft end‑to‑end product experiences that power thousands of users managing billions in assets.

Key responsibilities

• Build robust, scalable full‑stack features with an emphasis on frontend quality using modern frameworks and the in‑house Design System.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA and engineers to ship high‑quality features quickly.
• Shape and evolve frontend architecture, backend services, tooling and the Design System.
• Ensure great developer experience and continuously improve performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests and participate in discovery, feedback rounds and design critiques.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product development experience across the stack with deep frontend expertise.
• Strong communication skills, team‑player attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Experience in a startup or scale‑up, preferably in fintech or regulated domains.

Required skills

• TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (Svelte, SvelteKit, React, TanStack).
• Node.js backend development, NestJS, MySQL, Sequelize.
• Design System work (MeltUI, Shadcn, Felte) and UI/UX principles.
• Testing with Vitest and Playwright.
• Form validation tools such as Zod.
• Infrastructure knowledge of Kubernetes on AWS.
