Senior Internal Communications Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of internal communication across Europe. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will act as the internal voice of the company, aligning regional stakeholders with global strategy and strengthening employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute internal communications strategies across Europe to inform, engage, and align employees with business priorities.
• Design and lead internal communication campaigns that reflect regional needs while staying aligned with global direction.
• Plan, create, and deliver clear messaging through Slack, All‑Hands meetings, email, intranet and other key channels.
• Adapt global communication assets for local relevance and impact.
• Partner with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to shape and ensure consistent messaging.
• Develop storytelling and campaigns that bring company culture, strategy, and people to life.
• Manage the communication calendar, prioritising and delivering key messages on time.
• Introduce new tools, formats and AI‑enhanced processes to improve internal communication infrastructure.
• Act as trusted advisor on sensitive topics, including change‑management initiatives.
• Strengthen company culture through events, dialogue formats and effective communication.

Required profile

• University degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications or employer branding, preferably in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
• Proven track record developing and implementing multi‑channel internal communication strategies.
• Strong experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing across organisational levels.
• Excellent writing and storytelling abilities, translating business priorities into engaging narratives.
• Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Experience with digital communication platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams and intranet systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools that support content creation and communication efficiency.
