About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join a fast‑growing international B2B payments company in Düsseldorf. The role sits at the heart of commercial dealmaking, providing legal guidance that directly influences the company’s growth and product strategy.

Key responsibilities

Act as trusted legal advisor to group companies and business units across the commercial organisation.
Support product‑distribution initiatives, including software, and negotiate large‑scale customer contracts.
Review, draft and negotiate procurement contracts.
Develop legal frameworks for new business opportunities and special projects with group‑wide impact.
Manage an independent caseload with a high degree of autonomy.

Required profile

Completed both German state law examinations (Volljurist).
3–5 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in commercial, sales or procurement law.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
