Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide in‑house legal advice across multiple EMEA countries. Reporting to the Corporate VP – Legal & General Counsel, you will work closely with a global legal team and support a diverse internal client base.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and update customer agreements, including MPA’s, Terms of Business, Bonded Inventory Management and Consignment Agreements.
• Negotiate and advise on supplier contracts, focusing on warranties, IP infringement, indemnification and termination clauses.
• Support sales and quality teams on liability and warranty terms for defective product claims.
• Review, negotiate and advise on NDAs, office lease agreements and future site leases within the EMEA region.
• Assist Trade Compliance by ensuring export/import control laws are met for UK, EU and US operations.
• Provide guidance on data protection, GDPR compliance and privacy matters.
• Collaborate with global counsel on internal processes, employment law, IP, insurance and logistics issues.
• Undertake additional projects or duties as required by management.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a law degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• 7–12 years of post‑qualification experience in a commercial legal role, either in private practice or in‑house.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken; additional language knowledge is a plus.
• Commercially astute, highly organized, and able to solve problems efficiently.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
