Senior Operations Controller

About the role

HARTING, an international supplier of industrial connectivity, is looking for a Senior Operations Controller. The role uses SAP S/4 for operational controlling topics such as product costing, cost center accounting and variance analysis, and acts as the interface to Corporate Controlling for inquiries from the Executive Board.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy in cost center accounting, profit center accounting, costing methods and tariff calculations according to Group requirements
• Review global planning guidelines for production companies and support local planning processes
• Develop global operational controlling and reporting, including investments, production costs and inventory potential for the GBUs and other stakeholders
• Handle special analyses and business cases with strategic implications
• Manage global projects in the area of operations controlling
• Train new employees on operational controlling topics

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or comparable professional qualification
• Several years of experience in operational controlling within an international manufacturing environment
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills, able to give sound recommendations to senior management
• Excellent written and spoken English
