Senior Project Manager

About the role

Helsing, a defence‑focused AI company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery across a high‑stakes defence programme. You will work closely with engineering teams, external partners and defence customers to keep the project roadmap on track, manage risks and provide clear commercial reporting to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update internal and external project roadmaps, aligning engineering and commercial workstreams with milestones and customer commitments.
• Build and manage a steering dashboard that tracks KPIs, engineering milestones and contractual obligations, delivering timely performance data to senior leaders.
• Coordinate stakeholder interactions across internal teams, partners and defence customers, ensuring meeting outcomes are documented and actions are owned.
• Monitor project risks and issues, surfacing challenges early and recommending corrective actions before timelines are impacted.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Helsing’s project‑management practices by translating lessons learned into repeatable processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating project delivery workstreams in defence, aerospace, automotive or engineering environments.
• Demonstrated ability to support cross‑functional teams across technical and commercial milestones.
• Experience building and maintaining project tracking tools, dashboards or risk registers and presenting status to senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Holder of a PMP certification or equivalent, or actively pursuing such qualification.
