Senior Project Manager – Strategic Initiatives

About the role

Trusted Shops is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives that drive business transformation across the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO within the Project Office, you will oversee projects in process improvement, technology implementation and organisational change, working with cross‑functional teams in product, technology, finance, legal and HR.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and success criteria in partnership with sponsors, ensuring alignment with business cases and strategic objectives.
• Develop delivery timelines using agile or traditional methodologies, breaking down tasks for timely execution.
• Assemble and lead cross‑functional teams, identify internal and external resource needs and manage project budgets.
• Monitor milestones and key performance metrics, assess risks and implement controls to keep projects on track.
• Maintain proactive stakeholder communication, manage expectations and provide regular status updates.
• Drive change management activities, foster internal ownership and support adoption of new processes or solutions.
• Ensure thorough documentation and design tracking methods that reinforce sustainable, long‑term outcomes.
• Oversee procurement and budget management of external resources when internal expertise is unavailable.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Project Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in e‑commerce or digital product environments.
• Proven ability to lead diverse, cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering business value.

Required skills

• Project Management methodologies: SAFe, PRINCE2, PMBOK.
• Experience with both agile and traditional project delivery approaches.
• Budget and resource management capabilities.
• Risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
