Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Zeta Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of the real‑time addressability component of its Marketing Platform. Based in Berlin, you will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with product, engineering, and executive teams to deliver low‑latency, data‑intensive services.

Key responsibilities

• Build, refine, tune, and maintain real‑time infrastructure for data collection and processing.
• Design and develop services that enable core identity solutions across multiple channels.
• Partner with Product Managers to define and deliver data products.
• Work with DevOps to scale and optimise cloud‑based infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture discussions, influence the roadmap, and own new projects.
• Mentor developers through knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, taught in English.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Scala or Java.
• Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Passion for building reliable, low‑latency data processing systems.
