Senior Sourcing Manager Marketing (12‑month contract)

About the role

Join Zalando's global Procurement team to lead sourcing for Media, Marketing and Content Services across the group. You will develop and execute procurement strategies, negotiate contracts and deliver measurable commercial value.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end global sourcing strategies for creative agencies, marketing tools and research providers, optimizing spend and building preferred partner rosters.
• Design and scale commercial models such as rate cards, tiered pricing, usage rights and SaaS licensing structures.
• Run complex tenders and negotiations, drafting MSAs, SoWs and SLAs in partnership with Legal.
• Lead Supplier Relationship Management, establishing evaluation frameworks, KPIs and compliance tracking.
• Analyse marketing budgets and spend data to produce cost‑saving and cost‑avoidance metrics for leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Marketing Procurement or agency deal desk.
• Strong interest and solid understanding of creative & design production, marketing tools and research providers.
• Proven track record in managing sourcing projects, complex negotiations and contract optimisation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
