Senior Supply Chain Manager

About the role

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager at westwing, you will be responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end flow of goods across the company’s supply‑chain network. Based in Munich, you will partner with buying, warehouse, and logistics teams to guarantee timely product delivery and maintain high availability for a multi‑category portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete purchase order lifecycle, from supplier onboarding and order placement to shipment tracking and delivery.
• Coordinate deliveries, resolve shipping issues and collaborate with freight providers, warehouses, buying and supply‑planning teams.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, OTP and product availability, conduct root‑cause analyses and drive structural improvement plans.
• Lead cross‑functional projects that eliminate bottlenecks, introduce AI‑driven automation and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, acting as the senior point of contact.
• Coach and develop a small team of direct reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain management, logistics or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply‑chain management, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with data‑analysis tools such as Excel, SQL and Tableau.
• Familiarity with supply‑chain management software.
