About the role

The Senior Tax Manager will lead the organization’s tax function, ensuring compliance with German tax legislation and supporting strategic tax planning. This role reports to senior finance leadership and works closely with cross‑functional teams to manage all tax‑related decisions.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive tax research to stay current with legislative changes.
Prepare, review, and file corporate tax returns accurately and on time.
Identify and implement opportunities to reduce the effective tax rate.
Oversee non‑income tax compliance, including VAT and other indirect taxes.
Lead tax audits, coordinate with external auditors, and manage audit outcomes.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 5 years of professional tax experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
