SEO & AI Search Lead

About the role

Softr is seeking an SEO & AI Search Lead to own and drive organic performance across classic search and emerging AI answer layers. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work closely with Content, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Brand teams to make Softr the most‑recommended platform in its category.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end organic growth, setting and achieving traffic, signup, and AI answer share‑of‑voice targets.
• Define and execute the SEO roadmap, including keyword and prompt research, publishing priorities, programmatic systems, and link strategies.
• Reposition Softr within large language models (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) by closing citation gaps and shaping content patterns that LLMs quote.
• Lead technical and programmatic SEO initiatives: site health, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, internal linking, and scalable page generation.
• Build link, citation, and Reddit authority through owned, earned, and partner channels.
• Partner with Content, report monthly on SEO/AEO performance, flag risks, and translate algorithm or LLM changes into actionable plans.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven SEO success with measurable traffic, signup, or revenue impact at a SaaS or product‑led company.
• Deep fluency in AEO/AIO and experience influencing AI answer platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into strategy.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
