Service Technician – Electrical Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Service Technician to join our electrical engineering team. You will work on‑site with medium‑ and low‑voltage installations, instrumentation, control systems and power converters, ensuring reliable operation of critical energy and automation infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance for power electronics and automation technology.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues both on‑site and remotely to minimise downtime.
• Plan, organise and execute maintenance and repair operations while coordinating with customers.
• Assist with installation, assembly and commissioning of power converters and associated cooling systems.
• Review and update technical documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or a related field (career changers with relevant experience are welcome).
• Initial experience in service, maintenance or electrical installation is beneficial.
• Fluent German (spoken and written).
• Independent, detail‑oriented work style with a willingness to learn.
• Valid Category B driving licence and readiness to travel within Germany (over 50% travel).
