Site Support IT Technician – Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Technician to maintain, support and enhance the IT services of a fast‑growing energy analytics consultancy in Berlin. The position is office‑based and combines desk‑side and remote assistance for internal users, while also contributing to the evolution of the company’s IT infrastructure and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desk‑side and remote user support, including troubleshooting, laptop repair, application assistance and user onboarding/offboarding.
• Deploy, configure and maintain user software such as Office 365, OneDrive/SharePoint, anti‑virus solutions and video‑conferencing tools.
• Manage software updates, upgrades and security patches across the environment.
• Support large‑scale meetings using Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and maintain related video‑conferencing equipment and network devices.
• Develop and document IT infrastructure, systems and policies for the UK Head Office and support international offices.
• Produce regular reports on project status and activities for the Head of IT.
• Assist with ad‑hoc operational tasks, including office moves and occasional furniture assembly.
