Software Engineer – Backend (Python, FastAPI)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer who thinks beyond individual endpoints and understands how every piece of code fits into a larger ecosystem. You will join a small, cross‑functional team building a web‑application platform that serves users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own critical backend components of our web platform.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and design teams to shape end‑to‑end user experiences.
• Make architectural decisions that balance performance, scalability, security, and developer experience.
• Champion technical excellence and mentor teammates on best practices.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Starlette, Pydantic, or Falcon.
• Containerization with Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes or AWS is a plus.
• SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL for relational data modeling.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
