Software Engineer – Development & Simulation

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for a range of defined tasks. You will work on both hardware and software test environments, support complex simulation setups, and help optimise existing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and program software solutions for defined tasks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for code, functions, and changes.
• Maintain and enhance development and test environments (hardware and software).
• Support the setup and maintenance of complex simulation and system environments.
• Analyse and resolve software issues during system development.
• Contribute to continuous optimisation of existing software solutions and development processes.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for application development or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in software development.
• Good knowledge of multiple programming languages, ideally Python and C#.
• Strong technical understanding and a keen interest in complex software systems.
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to technical questions.
• High degree of personal responsibility and a solution‑oriented work ethic.
