Software Engineer – Go & XBase Development

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Extend and maintain merchandise management software built on XBase.
• Lead the strategic development of new solutions using Go.
• Conduct requirements analyses and define innovative solution paths.
• Perform third‑level error analysis, troubleshooting, and support software rollouts.
• Participate in company‑wide projects and collaborate with internal departments and external service providers.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Practical experience with common development tools such as Git.
• Good spoken and written German and English.
• High initiative, independence, reliability, and commitment.

Required skills

• Go programming language.
