Software Engineer Internship in Berlin (2026)

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join its Berlin team in 2026. You will work on enterprise‑grade, reliable software, gaining exposure to database internals, large‑scale data processing, and cloud infrastructure while collaborating with world‑class experts.

Required profile

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the internship.
• Completed BS degree with an MS or PhD in progress, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related fields.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and quick learning in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent English (oral and written) and experience working in a team.

Required skills

• Programming in C++ or Java.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
• Systems programming including multi‑threading and concurrency.
• Experience with big‑data processing, data migration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with SQL and related technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
