Software Engineer – Node.js & TypeScript (Hybrid, Frankfurt)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing B2C health‑tech company in Frankfurt that serves thousands of consumers. The team is looking for a Software Engineer who will work on the core platform, building and scaling backend services while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Node.js APIs using TypeScript.
• Integrate AI tools such as copilots, large‑language‑model APIs and automation utilities into the daily development workflow.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features that directly improve user health and wellbeing.
• Work with modern cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production‑grade Node.js and TypeScript applications.
• Comfortable experimenting with and adopting AI‑driven development tools.
• Product‑mindset focused on user impact rather than just code.
• Experience building scalable APIs and operating in cloud environments.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
