Solution Engineer – Tooling (Vehicle Intelligence)

About the role

As a Solution Engineer on the Tooling pillar, you will partner with ADAS and autonomous driving (AD) engineering teams at OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers to design and implement end‑to‑end simulation, data‑management, and CI/CD validation solutions. You will help customers close the loop between real‑world data collection, scenario extraction, simulation, model training, and performance evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers evaluating Applied’s simulation and data‑management tooling.
• Lead demos, proof‑of‑concept deployments, and integration workshops covering the full toolchain.
• Assist customers in embedding the platform into ADAS/AD CI/CD pipelines (SIL, HIL, VIL stages).
• Guide the design of closed‑loop data flywheels: collection strategy, curation, labeling, scenario extraction, simulation replay, and evaluation.
• Help configure scenario‑based testing and automated pass/fail metrics for validation programs.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable product insights for the engineering team.
• Manage technical workstreams and milestones across multi‑stakeholder programs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in ADAS or autonomous‑driving development and validation.
• Strong understanding of simulation, data‑management, and CI/CD processes in automotive contexts.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
