Solutions Engineer – Remote

About the role

As a remote Solutions Engineer you will act as a technical consultant and enabler for Pliant’s customers and partners, helping them adopt and scale the payments platform. You will collaborate with sales, product, engineering and customer success to deliver smooth onboarding, strong integrations and high‑quality technical guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical onboarding and integrations, planning and driving customer/partner onboarding, integration timelines, and go‑live readiness for API‑based setups.
• Support sales and partnerships in pre‑sales activities such as technical discovery, solution design, demos, RFPs and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Troubleshoot integration challenges post‑sales, reproduce problems, propose work‑arounds and coordinate with product/engineering to resolve blockers quickly.
• Run workshops and training sessions to enable developers and operators to build confidently on our APIs.
• Collaborate with a technical writer to produce reference architectures, integration playbooks, checklists and internal enablement material.
• Capture structured customer feedback and translate it into product and documentation improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering or technical consulting.
• Strong communication skills across demos, solution design and technical enablement with both engineers and business stakeholders.
• High‑ownership, service‑oriented mindset, comfortable driving end‑to‑end solutions and systematizing learnings into repeatable assets.
• Fluent in English.
