Strategic Outreach and Visits Manager

About the role

Google’s Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) team is seeking a Strategic Outreach and Visits Manager to shape high‑level executive engagements across Europe. You will coordinate executive visits, drive strategic planning, and act as the bridge between regional initiatives and global policy objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage executive‑level visits in the region, including scheduling, logistics, and stakeholder coordination.
• Lead strategic planning for executive engagements, ensuring alignment with global policy goals.
• Evaluate visit requests, enforce discipline around ROI, and prepare briefing materials.
• Oversee trip logistics, team preparation, and on‑site execution.
• Conduct post‑visit follow‑up, including readouts, impact reporting, thank‑you notes, and debriefs for continuous improvement.
• Share best practices and resources with regional teams and maintain regular progress reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of policy analysis and campaign experience on technology issues.
• At least 4 years of experience working within government, think tanks, public interest groups, technology industry groups, or corporate public policy organizations.
• Experience in scheduling/advance or protocol offices of elected officials or government agencies (preferred).
• Proven ability to plan and execute events and executive engagements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
