Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Lead

About the role

Join Tenneco’s supply chain team as a Continuous Improvement Lead, driving Lean culture and digital transformation across multiple plants. You will partner with supply chain managers, demand planners and material handling teams to elevate performance, reduce waste and deliver superior customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Lean initiatives, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events and shop‑floor improvements.
• Coach site supply chain leaders on daily management, visual management, problem solving and KPI routines.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning to design and implement demand forecasting, capacity management and weekly S&OE processes.
• Work with Supply Planning to translate production schedules into supplier orders and maintain optimal raw‑material inventory.
• Partner with Material Handling to ensure data integrity and support shop‑floor operations.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI and apply AI/ML techniques for data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Lean Culture Ambassador who leads by example and embeds continuous improvement mindsets.
• Process‑oriented leader comfortable enforcing discipline in production scheduling, planning and WIP management.
• Data‑driven decision‑maker with a digital mindset and experience building analytical tools.
• Hands‑on coach who spends time on the Gemba, trains teams and drives behavioral change.
