Supply Chain Planner – Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

About the role

As a Supply Chain Planner for Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, you will ensure that raw materials, components, and sub‑assemblies reach production lines on time and at optimal cost. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to keep the supply chain running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Create and deploy supply requirements via MRP to meet production, inventory, and cost targets.
• Manage safety stock levels, EOQs, and logistical efficiency.
• Maintain planning system parameters and master data.
• Provide clear‑to‑build status, material coverage, run‑out reports, and scenario analyses.
• Act as primary interface with suppliers, handling delivery status, issue resolution, and escalation.
• Support onboarding and training of new suppliers and coordinate ramp‑up/down for product launches.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and discrete manufacturing processes.
