System Administrator – Munich/Cologne/Nuremberg

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time System Administrator to join our IT team in Germany. The position can be based in Munich, Cologne or Nuremberg and combines day‑to‑day operational support with ownership of our cloud‑based workplace infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including user lifecycle, licensing and security settings.
• Manage identity and access through Entra ID / Azure AD, SSO integrations and federation.
• Provide endpoint support for Windows and macOS devices, using Intune for policy and compliance enforcement.
• Troubleshoot authentication, VPN, DNS and DHCP issues and support onboarding of new employees.
• Maintain Linux‑based internal services, VPN configuration and related infrastructure.
• Administer the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence), handling workspace configuration, permissions and automations.
• Identify recurring problems, improve processes and document solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud workplace environments.
• Practical knowledge of Entra ID / Azure AD, SSO and identity federation.
• Understanding of endpoint management, security hardening and compliance baselines (e.g., Intune).
• Comfort with networking basics such as VPN, DNS and DHCP.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
