About the role
As a Team Assistant you will be the central coordination hub for the Business Unit Industrial Trade and Converting. You will support management, enable cross‑functional collaboration and ensure smooth administrative, compliance and financial processes in a fast‑moving international environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative and organisational support to Business Unit management.
- Coordinate onboarding of new employees, including IT setup, workplace preparation, access provisioning and safety briefings.
- Plan and execute meetings, travel arrangements, customer visits and events such as workshops and trainings.
- Manage end‑to‑end event logistics, working with external vendors.
- Handle procurement of office and laboratory supplies and oversee general office administration.
- Create and track purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoices, ensuring compliance with SAP/Ariba financial processes.
- Support safety, compliance and documentation activities, including audits and safety system updates.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an assistant, office management or coordination role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- High attention to detail and reliability in administrative and financial processes.
- Experience working in cross‑functional and international environments.
- Fluency in German and English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or Ariba (preferred).
