Team Lead – E-Bike Mechanics

About the role

Join a fast‑growing e‑mobility startup as the Team Lead for the Berlin Upcenter, overseeing the complete e‑bike refurbishment process. You will ensure every bike meets high quality standards before it reaches the customer, while coordinating closely with mechanics and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional testing on newly arrived e‑bikes and assess condition before repairs.
• Document bike components accurately to maintain complete data records.
• Clean and prepare bikes post‑repair for customer delivery.
• Capture high‑quality photos of bikes for product listings.
• Inspect bikes for quality, protect them for shipment, and coordinate logistics for timely delivery.
• Track inventory of bikes and packaging materials, ensuring data accuracy.
• Lead a team of Operations Specialists, prioritize tasks and meet daily targets.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics, warehouse management or a similar operational role (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and solve issues proactively.
• Physical fitness to handle and lift heavy e‑bikes.
• Comfortable using digital tools and fluent in English.
