Team Lead Support / Technical Lead (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a dual‑impact professional who will combine technical expertise with people leadership to ensure the stability of our cloud‑based medical image management solutions. Based in Munich, you will work in a hybrid model, guiding a high‑performing support team while directly assisting hospital IT and PACS users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership to the support team, prioritising tasks and managing resources.
• Act as the primary point of contact for users and hospital IT teams regarding our image data management solutions.
• Handle 1st‑level and 2nd‑level incidents for cloud/archive solutions, front‑end servers and applications.
• Continuously improve support and operational processes to raise customer service quality.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and collaborate across departments to resolve complex technical issues.
• Monitor services and applications on internal and customer systems to ensure high availability.
• Manage escalations for key accounts and expand internal knowledge base and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in technical customer support (1st and 2nd level).
• Initial experience in functional or disciplinary leadership, preferably with remote teams.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with clinical IT standards such as PACS, DICOM, HL7 and IHE (highly preferred).
• Completed vocational training in IT, a Computer Science degree, or comparable qualification.
• German (C1) and English (B2) language proficiency.
• Proactive, service‑oriented communicator with a hands‑on mentality.
