Tech Support Engineer II

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to internal and external customers via phone and email.
• Deliver non‑complex service jobs on‑site and remotely.
• Collaborate with senior team members on troubleshooting and solution design.
• Author and maintain knowledge‑base articles covering technical limitations and best practices.
• Improve product documentation by identifying gaps and working with cross‑functional teams.
• Offer technical expertise at external events such as booths, labs and webinars.
• Complete new‑hire orientation and a thorough training program.
• Enable customer success by supporting operations through phone, email, web channels or on‑site visits.
• Teach customers how to use AVEVA software as an instructor and trainer.
• Develop business acumen by understanding customer use‑cases and collaborating with AVEVA departments to enhance the overall experience.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated with a strong customer mindset.
• Enthusiastic about technical problem solving, detail‑oriented and excellent communicator.
• Ability to learn and research in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Natural Sciences or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced/fluent English; additional language skills (especially German) are a plus.
