Technical Support Engineer – Advanced Imaging Systems

About the role

CSR Biotech is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide remote and on‑site assistance for its high‑tech life‑science imaging instruments across Europe. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless installation, operation, and maintenance of advanced microscopy equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑ and post‑sales technical support, both remotely and on‑site.
• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair imaging instruments at customer locations.
• Run sample‑preparation assays and test protocols to verify instrument performance.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring rapid resolution and high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to address cross‑functional technical challenges.
• Travel up to 85% of the time across Europe to support field operations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with microscopes and related scientific instrumentation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently in varied environments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
