Training Specialist – Learning & Development

About the role

Join Hitachi Energy as a Training Specialist and help build a strong learning culture across our operations. You will drive competency development, support on‑the‑job learning, and ensure training aligns with global product line standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement local training plans that match global standards and business needs.
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate competency development initiatives.
• Deliver engaging training sessions, evaluate their effectiveness, and continuously improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate training records and manage learning documentation and systems.
• Coordinate and support internal trainers to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery.
• Facilitate onboarding programs for new employees.
• Ensure alignment with skills governance, product line frameworks, and organizational training standards.

Required profile

• Degree in HR, Management, Psychology, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, training or competency management.
• Proven experience delivering training sessions or workshops, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret training data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LMS platforms or skills management systems.
