Warehouse Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Maintenance Technician to ensure the performance and reliability of our logistics equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing automated warehouse systems, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous‑improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sorters, automated systems, forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and automation faults and restore equipment quickly.
• Carry out routine inspections, adjustments and performance checks on sorting and handling systems.
• Document all maintenance actions in the CMMS and help analyse recurring technical issues.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving equipment performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Required profile

• Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic, Electrician or Mechatronics Technician, or equivalent vocational training.
• 1–3 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse or automated industrial environment.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of electromechanics, industrial electrical systems and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
