Working Student – Hardware Testing & Validation

About the role

RobCo is developing autonomous industrial robots and needs a Working Student to support hardware testing and validation. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure mechanical components meet performance and durability standards through structured experiments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute mechanical and hardware‑related tests such as pull, impact, stress, and accuracy measurements.
• Set up test rigs, measurement equipment and data‑acquisition systems.
• Investigate and analyse failures or unexpected behaviour, documenting findings.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve designs based on test results.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Physics or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on mindset with interest in testing and experimentation.
• Structured, analytical working style and ability to document results clearly.
